The Grand Nude Show 2002
|
| Kelly Kuhn, director and co-owner of
Blue Gallery, Kansas City, Missouri, studied art history at the
University of Missouri, Kansas City. After working eight years as
an art consultant, developing relationships with artists and collectors,
she made the decision to open an art gallery that largely supported
local and regional artists. "My favorite subject-matter, as a
collector, has always been the nude. Sometimes I wonder if I
should consciously collect other subject-matter to diversify a little,
but then I end up buying yet another nude. It amazes me how the
same human form (male or female) can be rendered so differently."

| David

of Blue Gallery and owner of Kuhn & Company, a creative resource
company, received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 1988.

Nude Show. She taught art
for 23 years in international and American public schools before coming

Her own work is mostly representative, but as curator of the
Grand Nude Show, she wishes to include a wide range of outstanding work
in a variety of styles and media.
